Have you decided to take up the sport of recreational shooting and hunting? If so, you’ll need to obtain a firearms licence.

Joining the SSAA Sydney Branch as a member will fulfil the genuine reason provision on your licence application. For further information on how to obtain the necessary paperwork and the process involved, click on the below links or CLICK HERE for Licence Testing venues

You can now apply for an individual firearms licence online via Service NSW: www.service.nsw.gov.au

To complete your online application you will need:

• A MyServiceNSW Account linked to the NSW Police Force
• Firearms Safety Training Certificate
• Supporting documents for your Genuine Reason and Special Need
• A credit card for payment of the licence fee (if applicable)
